Terms & refunds
Last updated 4 November 2026
The short version: you're pre-ordering a game that isn't finished yet. You'll get it the day it launches. If you change your mind before then, email us and we'll refund you in full.
Who you're buying from
The Squishhh! Founder's Edition is sold by No Fear Tech Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@squishhh.com.
What a Founder's Edition includes
- A licence to download and play the full game of Squishhh! for Windows PC, DRM-free, from launch day.
- A Steam key for Squishhh! once the game is released on Steam (currently planned for early 2027).
- The Founder's Hat, a cosmetic item for Lefty, and the digital soundtrack.
- A Founder number, shown on your thank-you page and kept on record.
The game is in development. Features, worlds and release dates described on this website are our current plans and may change as we build it. We'll never take away the core things listed above.
Pre-orders and delivery
You pay once, at checkout, through Stripe. There's no subscription. We'll email your download link (and later your Steam key) to the email address you used at checkout. Please keep it up to date by emailing us if it changes.
Refunds
You can cancel and get a full refund at any time before the game launches. Just email hello@squishhh.com from the address you bought with. We aim to refund within 5 working days, back to your original payment method.
After launch, you have 14 days from purchase to cancel, as long as you haven't started downloading the game. Once you start a download, you agree that your right to cancel ends (as allowed by the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations). If the game is faulty, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply, and we'll fix it, replace it or refund you.
If we ever cancel the game, every Founder gets a full refund.
Using the game
Your licence is personal and for non-commercial use. You can make videos and streams of Squishhh! (please do!) and monetise them. Please don't redistribute or resell the game files.
The browser demo and leaderboard
The demo is free to play. Leaderboard names must be friendly. We may remove names or times that are offensive or obviously cheated.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep any protections your local consumer law gives you.
